Omnis & Design Partners Take a Tour of the Petrarch Factory

Recently we had the pleasure of playing host to our esteemed US partners, Omnis, and key members of the design and construction team behind the impressive Java Street project.

The team was keen to see the Petrarch factory and find out first-hand how our reconstituted stone panels are made. Without revealing all of our secrets, the team had the opportunity of discovering the production process and learning more about the capabilities of our unique rainscreen system.

Marvel by name & nature

Designed by 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗹 and developed by 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲, 1 Java Street is set to open in Winter 2025, providing 834 rental units, retail spaces, and public areas that enhance waterfront connectivity. With installation by 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 and construction management by 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼., 𝗜𝗻𝗰., the project is targeting LEED Gold, WEDG Waterfront, Fitwel, and Energy Star certifications, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and community impact.

It was fantastic to meet the team and share the craftsmanship behind Petrarch’s composite stone façades UK.

We are excited to watch this project progress! We are also conscious of how important it is to the design team to learn more about the production process itself. (We’ve also been reflecting on ways we can incorporate the Made In Britain mark in our factory – watch this space!)
