Petrarch PlanX Premieres at Webster Place

Webster Place involved the transformation of an existing building to prepare for Advocate Health’s new 70,000-square-foot medical facility. The owner’s objective was clear – refresh the core and shell of the structure with a durable, modern façade solution that aligned with both performance expectations and budget realities.

The Challenge

“We were under a serious budget crunch,” said Randy Coakley, Novak Construction project lead.

“When Matt mentioned there was an option that matched the look on the spec but came in at a better price point, we were immediately interested.”

Omnis worked with the team to offer a cost-effective alternative that met the design intent without compromising quality.

Collaboration & Support

“Everyone communicated well – no surprises, no hiccups. It made the whole process easy on our end,” Coakley noted.

Installation & Outcome

“The finished façade looks great. The install went as expected, and the product performed exactly how we needed it to. We’re already using Omnis on our next project – that tells you everything,” Coakley added.

Given its highly durable, and intrinsic resistance, Petrarch reconstituted stone panels are ideal for schemes such as this – where robustness and resistance to salt, moisture and weathering are key. Petarch combines long-term durability with minimal maintenance which is a real advantage in demanding environments. It is also an excellent choice for low level applications and high footfall schemes, thanks to its impact resistance.

The overall effect is breathtaking.
