Petrarch Reconstituted Stone Cladding offer On-Point Performance

Petrarch Planx Powers Rush Medical’s Sleek New Outpatient Centre

Now fully realised, the Rush Medical Outpatient Centre in Chicago stands as a bold testament to next-generation healthcare design. Captured here in vivid clarity by our in-house photographer, and one of Petrarch’s brand owners, Craig Chivers, this project is a true showcase for our U.S. distribution partner, Omnis Panels.

Delivered by Jensen & Halstead Ltd. for Novak Construction, the 60,000-square-foot facility re-defines patient-centered care, on both a functional and aesthetic front. Inside, this revolutionary healthcare centre boasts 90 high-spec exam, consultation, and procedure rooms, complemented by a ground-level urgent care center and ample car parking. In keeping with a modern design intent, the architectural language is streamlined and expressive.

The durability and performance of the façade, was a key factor in the success of this pioneering centre. Now fully clad in Petrarch Planx – our new generation slimline rainscreen panels. These reconstituted stone rainscreen panels offer unparalleled durability while delivering a refined, tactile finish that balances minimalist appeal with textural depth. The slim profile allows for rapid installation and reduced structural load, all while offering a sleek aesthetic; aligning with the architect’s precision-focused design ethos.

Designed with sustainability in mind, Petrarch Planx support an eco-conscious specification, minimising material waste while delivering on long-term lifecycle performance. Lightweight yet robust, Petrarch Planx answers the call for sustainable construction without compromise, making it an ideal choice for progressive healthcare environments.

With this project, Chicago gains more than a medical facility, but a new architectural landmark. And for Petrarch, it signals a fresh chapter in façade innovation, where design meets durability, and performance meets purpose.
