University of Connecticut Student Recreation Centre

This 200,000+ sf University of Connecticut Recreation Centre replaced the old 25,000 square foot Rec Centre. The new Rec Centre includes activity spaces for cardiovascular and strength training facilities, racquetball courts, basketball courts, a running track, multipurpose sports areas, and an aquatics centre; swimming pool, sauna, and whirlpool; a wellness centre, 57’ climbing/bouldering wall, indoor and outdoor spaces for club sports, and flexible spaces for events and activities for use by the students and the UCONN community.
